So, Friday was the last day of school. FINALLY! After all the snow days we've had. And, I'm officially, a high schooler.
Anyway, to recap: This school year, I got a blog, and became a high schooler. Yeah, short blog life.
So, viewer recap: Mostly from the US, some still from Germany, AND new from the Ukraine! Oh, and I fixed the comment thing where you could only comment with a google account. Now you can comment anonymously, and please do!
I will be gone all this week at summer camp, so don't expect posts from me. I'll share stories, I promise!
See you Monday!

The Fault In Our Stars (Movie Review-thingy)
The movie was good. I thought it was almost better than the book, in the aspect that the beginning wasn't as depressing as it is in the book. Some things in the movie were different, which is to be expected. Like how Augustus picks them up for Amsterdam instead of the opposite. Only, did they really need to have him in a limo? The other thing was when Augustus asks Hazel if she has $5. In the book, he asks if she has $4. Seriously? It's just a little thing, I know, but that makes it so much easier to get it right!
As a movie by itself, I would totally have seen that even if I hadn't read the book. It was a good movie. I thought that the beginning was fun, a bit upbeat, and would be an awesome movie to see with one's boy/girlfriend if it had a happy ending. Sadly, it doesn't. (Sadly, it ends sadly. Oh aren't I funny?) Because of this, it is a great movie to go see and then cry about with your friends. 4.5/5 (that's a better review than some guy on the radio gave. He said 4/5, and gave The Edge a 5/5)
One note, the movie does include Chapter 13, but there is a reason it is rated PG-13 and not R. It doesn't show anything, just like in the book. I would say this:
Rated PG-13 for mild language and 'implying' content.
Not rated R for mild language and explicit content.
---Update on Mission Break Matthew's Heart---
It is being put on hold. I don't have to do anything! Which is nice, but now I don't have an excuse to talk to Andre. :(

The Fault In Our Stars
(The Fault In Our Stars = TFIOS)
Did you know that TFIOS is titled after Shakespeare? It talks about it in the book. Well, actually, I don't know if that's true, it's just a guess, but it talks about this Shakespeare stuff that includes stuff about the title. Behold: " 'The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars / But in ourselves' " ~ The Shakespeare quote in TFIOS.
It was a good book. It was really well written and everything. I mean, the one question I have after reading this, is how in the world does John Green know how to be a teenage girl who thinks about life and stuff. I am a teenage girl who thinks about life and stuff for fun. Just how did he get that right? So, for those of you who haven't read it yet, you should read it if you like these types of things. (Not cancer books, but awesome love books)
Hazel Grace kind of reminds me of myself. It's also creepy.

IF YOU HAVE NOT READ TFIOS YET, DO NOT CONTINUE READING THIS POST UNTIL YOU DO. #SPOLIERALERT
So, TFIOS starts out depressing. For goodness sake, it's talking about depression. And then it makes you laugh. But it hasn't stopped being depressing yet...
I told my dad how depressing the beginning was, and then I laughed. It's like saying your grandma just died, but on the bright side she won't pinch your cheek anymore, except it's actually funny.
Good news, it becomes happy when she starts to hang with Augustus. And it is this bright, positive, little space in time, where the book is not depressing. But then Augustus bites it, and everything turns depressing again. It starts depressing, ends depressing, and somewhere in the middle, there are some happy thoughts. It seems as though it is only happy and not depressing when Augustus is alive and in the book.
Also, the ending is too long. There is too much 'After-Augustus' part. Some of the stuff in that part is good, and ties up most loose ends, but it just takes too long.
So tomorrow, I am going to see the movie with my gran. Yep, Chapter 13 and all. Wish me luck!

Jar of Broken Hearts
So this guy, Matthew, likes my friend, C. And C and Matthew's friends, Andre and Paul, had created this plan that C would break Matthew's heart so he could become a 'stud muffin' like Andre. I'm not gonna lie, Andre kinda is a 'stud muffin', Andre is buff.
Anyway, C didn't want to break Matthew's heart, not because she liked him or anything, but it's just a bit weird. So now Andre chooses me to complete his mission, and I don't even have Matthew in any of my classes!
At the end of the day today, Andre comes up to me and puts his big arm around me (not gonna lie, I didn't mind being an armrest) and asks if I had completed my mission yet. So I complain that I don't have him in any of my classes except for band, and ask the simple question of why.
There is no why. Only do, there is. <lol Yoda speak> I don't get any reason. Just a mission; start your jar of broken hearts.

Authoring!
OK guys, I want to start writing a new book. This means I will use the time I would normally blog to write. Which means I won't be blogging as often! I will probably only post once I finish writing one chapter, do a short blog post, and add the link to the chapter. Just a warning!

Rain, rain, go away
It poured. I had to walk, from one school building, to another, and it was pouring the entire time. And, I had to take home two projects that I had turned into school, so those things got wet and I didn't have a good hold on my umbrella. Bleh.
Interesting facts time! I have had five views from some peeps in Germany. That's cool, considering I live in the US. I also have had four views (other than me) in the US. That's also cool. I think I have about two followersishish nowish. Maybe two.
If you are following me, please comment! I would love to chat with you!

High School
Hey peeps. Sorry I haven't been writing lately, I've been busy. I was going to type yesterday morning, only I didn't have the time, then I was going to type last night, only I didn't finish, and now I have to be quiet about this 'cause my parents are home and I don't know if I'm allowed to have a blog yet. :]
So science is turning into a little drama spot. Someone took Red's phone and put it in Kal's. Only we don't know who it was. I say prime suspect is J, since he was the last one in the room. But then there's the "don't blame the new kid" protection he has. I don't know if we'll ever find out who did it.
Last night I went to my school's production of High School Musical 2. My BFF, May, is in it, so I said I'd suffer through it for her. The 'actress' that played Sharpay was such a diva, that either she should look for a career in acting, or, needs an attitude check. Troy and Gabriella look as in love as ever, and Troy's faces as Gabriella says they need a break were awesome. He went to the extremes throughout the musical. Gabriella had broken up with her boyfriend before the show started to be rehearsed, but Troy kept his girlfriend, she cheered him on during the show. Why this difference?

Dramatic Wrinkles
"I have nothing to say about [Dramatic Wrinkles], just that you'd be a horrible one. The profession is much too unclean."
Science is turning out to be a very dramatic place! I overheard a Kay and Em talking with John about how he uses some other girl. She likes John, and so John keeps talking to her, but he keeps thinking silently "I hate you.". And apparently this girl is mad at John, but for some other reason, so John has stopped talking to her. Get this, John is a huge perv. Apparently these two have sexted? What? John hates her! Now John has promised Kay, Em, and El, that he will stop talking to her and stop leading her on. That's good.
Guys don't ever be like John and lead a girl on like that.
Wrinkles. Our elbows are really wrinkly. Did you know what that little flab of skin is called? It's your wenis. And it sound a lot like something else. The boy-pervs on my bus were touching each other's wenises. And the bus aid that came on today, was all "What are you boys doing?" And they're all "He's squeezing my wenis!" Yeah, you're just saying that cause it sounds dirty. That's real nice. *eye roll*
Did anyone guess how the title has something to do with this post?

Yesterday
Yesterday I was in the Memorial Day Parade. It was sooo hot. Marching + black pants + warm weather = sweaty me
But they gave us popsicles and candy after, so it was OK.
Sorry I haven't been writing much, it's just that nothing has happened really recently.

Bleh...
I marched in the Memorial Day Parade with the school band. Been working on homework. Got a job watering plants next week for my neighbor. Yawn. I'm kind of exhausted right now... I'll see you people tomorrow.

Douches, Stars, and Dreams
Wow, this is gonna be a long one....
Yesterday I went to band class, as usual. Our band conductor has, like, these really weird mood swings or something, and he's kind of a philosopher. So I've come up with a theory. If we play well, he will either let us out early for once, or lose track of time and let us go on the bell or a few seconds after (because sometimes, we have to finish the music). Well, we did really good at our marching, and he let us out five minutes early. Or, at least, that's what I thought was the reason.
At the end of school, I find out. I sit next to one of my fellow bandies at the end of school. So when a trombone comes up and starts talking about how "Mr. B's a douche." I of course want to know why, 'cause I kind of like our philosopher teacher.
So apparently, just as I was leaving class, he called all of the people who tried out for Color Guard. He talks to them, tells them who made it in, and then he says this to the alternates, "You are only our alternates because you tried out and stepped up. You aren't good enough, but you will get there, you just need more practice." That fits with his character, to just cut to the chase and tell people why. But then he goes on. He keeps talking about how they aren't good enough, in front of the people who made it in. And as if that wasn't bad enough, I also know why my clarinet friend, B, walked out of class with a red face and puffy eyes.
Before he went to talk to the peeps who tried out for Color Guard, he asked to talk to B, who decided to quite band for high school. Instead of asking why she's quitting, he just goes out and says, "You won't get anywhere, because you can't follow through on a commitment." Wow, that's nice. Not. Then he goes on about how marching band is awesome, and that's nice, but what if based on the marching experience we've had this past week, B has decided to not do marching band? He probably said nice things as well, like how she is such a good clarinet player, she can't quit. But that doesn't change the fact that B still left band crying, and how he can't say anymore that he yells at kids, but he has never made someone cry.
I feel kind of bad for B. This news has probably spread like wildfire, especially within the band. But I hope she knows that we are on her side, and we agree with her that he's truly more of a douche than we thought.

Fate and Other Things
I ran for student government this year. We were allowed one poster, but NO campaigning. I am more of a quiet person, and I don't socialize as much as other people. So it wasn't much of a surprise when my friend told me she heard someone ask, "Who is Reese?". Whatever, it's my own fault.
We voted yesterday, and got results today. I lost. Oh well. My friends who ran lost as well. It wasn't supposed to be a popularity contest, but oh well.
But you know what? It's ok. Like my friend said, if I don't make it in, it's just not in God's plan for me. There's also a quote from one of my favorite book, it's kinda what I go by.
"Screw it. Let [God] decide. I wish for the thing that is best for me." --Anna and the French Kiss.

Yes, these are my friends...
Remember the guy I was talking about yesterday, if he was gay or not? Well, my friends and I, we went over to talk to him, because, supposedly, Brie had to tell him something. (We will call him J from now on.)
So Brie starts talking about how she is Sharpie, and Zo is a Sharpet, and then May is Gabriela, and he is Troy. J is all like what in the world are you talking about. Brie asks if he has seen High School Musical. No, he hasn't, so Brie complains about how he had no childhood. 'He's normal,' I say, because to me, High School Musical is annoying.
'No, both of you are not normal. Everyone likes High School Musical.' Brie keeps talking but I'm chatting with Zo, and J isn't listening either. In fact, HE'S STARING AT ME. What, is a girl to do?
Then, we have to go over to a different new guy, because Zo has to compliment him on his complection. So we talk to this other guy, and Zo just is like, 'What's your name?' He says **** and they weakly shake hands. Then she's all, 'You know, you have wonderful complection.' And he just starts walking the other way.

That's Awkward....
Science class was a review game today. Recently we got a new student, and one of my teammate says about him, "Is he gay, he's wearing skinny jeans..."
Only too true, he was. Am I the only one who thinks it's weird when guys are wearing the same clothes as you?
We still don't know is sexuality, it's a shame. He's cute.... Very feminine features though..
Take the poll! ---->
